The South Yorkshire Safety Association is a voluntary organisation with membership drawn from all sizes of business. The association is one of a number of independent occupational health and safety groups affiliated to the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).
The objectives of the Association are:
- To promote interest and awareness in the in improving methods of accident prevention amongst employers, employees and the self employed within the South Yorkshire Area.
- To foster and develop a spirit of co-operation between large employers and smaller employers and the self employed.
- To facilitate the pooling and dissemination of knowledge through meetings, lectures and discussions.
